My work engages with the manifestation of sound and how it employs the spirit of musical expression that continuously evolves through creative output. By engaging musically in the spirit, light is evoked in darkness as it awakens the essence of the vibrant energy that emanates from the strings and body of the harp.

What counterspells are present in your work?
Utilizing a spectrogram, light counters darkness through the vibrations of sound creating a spectrum of the energetic forces found in the rhythmic and melodic strains of a composition for harp solo. The weaving of sound resists the stasis of darkness by introducing a colorful array of light representing the spirit of creative energy.
